What is Diwali? Why Diwali is Celebrated?
Deepabali is a festival of traditional Hindu. It is also known as Diwali, Deepanabita, Deepalika, Sukhotri, Sukhuputika and Yakshatri.
According to Ramayana, on the day of Deepavali, in the Treta period, Lord Sriram Chandra Ravana was killed and returned to Ayodhya after fourteen years of exile. On the return of Shri Ram fourteen years later, lamps were lit all over the state. People cheer. Many believe that the illumination and the sound of the Deepabali have spread, been known, expanded in other regions, keeping in view the chapter that took place in the Ram-kingdom during the Treta Yuga.
Meteorites were burned to show their patriarchs who left Jamaloka to receive blessings in the Mahalaya. Because of that, the light and the fire were burned on that day. Some people lit lamps at their doorsteps at night. Someone or lamp burns in a small room made of paper on a tall bamboo head, it is called Akash lamp in regional language.
Deepabali means festival of light. In every Bijaya Bhasan - the mind which is absorbed in the subconscious of five days of joy and farewell, the mind, which lies in the consciousness of the minus-widow, dreams of happiness again, keeping Deepavali in front.
Deepavali is basically a five day festival. The fourteenth day of the Deepabali day (this day is called the first day of the Deepabali festival) is called 'Narka Chaturdashi'. On this day, Sri Krishna and his wife Satyavama killed Narakasur. The second day of the fourteenth day of the new moon Tithi Deepavali festival, but this day is celebrated as the origin. On this night, Shakti worshipers worship Shakti Devi Kali. Moreover, Lakshmipuja is also performed on this day;
According to Vishnupurana, the dwarf incarnation of Vishnu sends the Asura sacrifice to the abyss; On the day of Deepavali, the devil was allowed to come to the earth and to burn incomparable lamps to dispel darkness and ignorance, to ignite the flame of love and wisdom. On the third day of Deepavali - Kartika Pure, this day the Asura sacrifice is cleansed out of hell and ruled the world over Vishnu. The fourth day is brother Ditya, also known as Yom Ditia. On this day, the sisters bow to their brothers, buckle on their foreheads, tie rakhi in their hands.
Deepabali - Not only the traditional fanatics, but also Sikh and Jain rituals. And now- this event is universal; In globalized society, it can no longer be restricted. Kali is worshiped on the day of Deepavali in this country, so Deepali and Kali Puja combine together. Deepavali days are official holidays in India, Malaysia, Singapore, Nepal, Guyana, Trinidad-Tobago, Mauritius, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Fiji and Suriname.
Kali is worshiped in Tripura, West Bengal and Deepavali in Bangladesh. Ganesh Puja and Lakshmi Puja are also performed on this day in other parts of the country. Diwali was liberated on the day of Diwali, in the year 120 AD, the founder of Jainism. On the day of Deepavali, Sikh priest Guru Hargobind ji returned to Amritsar. The Sikhs celebrated his return, defeating the Emperor Jahangir and liberating the Bayanan Hindu king from the fort of Gwalior. They also call this day 'captive throwing day'.
